This is "Hattaiko" (roasted barley flour) made from 100% domestic naked barley.
We have roasted and milled barley into a powder.
A Japanese-style cereal that allows you to enjoy the natural sweetness of the grain.
Also known as "Mugikogashi" or "Ochirashiko," it allows you to easily consume beta-glucan, a soluble dietary fiber found in barley.
Contains approximately 3.9g of barley beta-glucan per 100g.
You can enjoy it by adding sugar to your liking and mixing it with boiling water, or use it in various recipes such as mixing it into milk for a drink, or incorporating it into cookies, cakes, and manju buns.
