Company Information

With over 100 years in business and the motto of bringing handmade flavors to your home, we have remained committed to using primarily domestic ingredients and creating additive-free, uncolored products that are safe and reliable.
Our headquarters and factory are located in Uwajima City, Ehime Prefecture, surrounded by a warm climate and rich natural environment. Maeda was founded during the period of rapid economic growth following post-war reconstruction, beginning with the production of dried sweet bean paste. As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we now manufacture and sell a total of over 100 original products. Centered on domestic ingredients such as rice, wheat, and soybeans—carefully cultivated by dedicated producers across the country—our motto is food safety and peace of mind. We produce additive-free and non-colored foods that allow you to taste the natural flavor of the ingredients themselves. Amidst today's diversifying food preferences driven by lifestyle changes, we focus on developing products suited to the times, prioritizing foods that can be incorporated into daily life without difficulty. We also offer a wide selection of ingredients that allow you to enjoy making sweets with your family.

Promoting the Maeda Brand both in Japan and abroad

■ Supermarket Trade Show We have set up a Maeda booth at this exhibition, which provides the latest information to the food distribution industry centered on supermarkets, to showcase our latest product information. We are exhibiting our new products, focusing on retort pouches, including our private brand series such as Mochi Barley, GABA Rice, and Uwajima-style Jakoten Rice.

■ Promoting Maeda products to overseas customers via video Maeda products are exported not only domestically but also overseas (the US and Hawaii). You can purchase Maeda products at Japanese supermarkets. Since we have been unable to promote them to local customers in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to produce a video to reach them. Our staff members were nervous, but thanks to the production crew, we were able to create a video filled with passion.
