Uwajima Seared Sea Bream Rice (2 servings)

Made with Ehime red sea bream

Domestic non-glutinous rice is blended with domestic dietary fiber-rich barley (Kirari-mochi), carrots, and burdock root, then cooked to perfection. Enjoy this luxurious dish topped with carefully seared Ehime sea bream. This wheat-free pre-cooked rice pack is a popular choice as a souvenir from Ehime and for online orders.

Maeda's rice packs are retort-pouched using a pressurized heat-sterilization method

They can be stored at room temperature for a long time, making them convenient for stocking up. Simply heat them in the microwave for a healthy meal at home, in your lunchbox, or for those living alone!

Convenient rice packs for a warm meal

Enjoy delicious, freshly cooked-tasting rice in any situation. You can also prepare them in boiling water when outdoors or camping. Many of Maeda's rice packs use mixed grains and barley and have a shelf life of seven months from the date of manufacture, making them ideal for emergency supplies. Dietary fiber is often lacking during disasters. Since this is rice you eat every day, we recommend "rolling stock"—a method of stocking up and replenishing what you consume. When the time comes, you can rely on Maeda's rice packs to get the dietary fiber you need.
